About Us

Phillip Morrison-Gale CIHCM (he/him)

Phillip is an experienced consultant and trainer with over 20 years of expertise in the charity and social housing sectors in the UK and Ireland. Phillip holds a masters level qualification in Leadership and Management as well as Health and Social Care and is an experienced housing association Chief Executive and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).

 

Phillip has worked in the voluntary and social economy sectors at a senior level and has been involved in strategic development of plans and services. He has established and scaled multi-million-euro projects which delivered positive outcomes for people, families and communities spanning a wide range of social policy objective areas including work with people on recovering journeys, at risk young people, intergenerational living initiatives and programmes designed to support healthy ageing.

 

Phillip holds experience of working with domestic violence agencies such as Scottish Women’s Aid and as a senior leader in the social housing sector, Phillip introduced strategies to support the social housing response to domestic abuse designed to support tenants experiencing domestic abuse, improve their safety and help reduce homelessness presentations.  Phillip also worked with local authorities in Scotland to rolled out their ‘Rapid Re-housing Transition Plans’ which worked to support stable accommodation for people being liberated from the prison system with a view to reducing reoffending.

 

Phillip has a deep understanding of the charity sector including governance, regulation, legislation, and good practice.  He has led large scale change management and culture change reviews, developed strategy and commissioned services (such as independent living services for older people, asset-based support services for at risk young people, and care leavers) and has supported organisational growth and development in highly regulated areas. 

 

An effective communicator and facilitator, Phillip is skilled in engaging diverse groups in meaningful conversations, fostering collaboration and ensuring ideas and objectives are clearly understood.  His approach to active listing and adaptability allows him to guide conversations strategically toward productive outcomes.

 

Phillip holds in-depth knowledge and understanding of what ‘good’ looks like and how to support organisations to meet their desired objectives.
